Indications

Mannitol injection is used to treat :

• fluid accumulation in the brain (Intracranial Pressure)
• increased pressure in the eye (Intraocular Pressure)
• acute angle-closure glaucoma
• swelling of the brain (Cerebral Edema)

Posology

The choice of the specific mannitol concentration, dosage and rate of administration depends on the age, weight, clinical and biological condition of the patient and concomitant therapy, directed by the physician.
