Indications
UNICLAV is indicated for following infections
Lower and upper respiratory tract infections
Sinus infections (sinusitis)
Infections of the skin and skin structures
Urinary tract infections
Bone and joint (joint) infections
Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
Commonly acquired pneumonia
Cystitis
Pyelonephritis
Dental infections
Posology
You have to dissolve all the powder in one glass of a sterile water or a boiled water.
For Adults and children 40 kg, recommended doses
Standard dose (for all indications): 1000 mg / 125 mg three times a day.
Lower dose (especially for skin and soft tissue infections, and mild sinusitis): 1000 mg / 125 mg twice daily
For Children <40 kg
In children, use UNICLAV tablet, suspension, or pediatric sachet
Recommended dose: 40 mg / 5mg / kg / day to 80mg / 10mg / kg / day (without exceeding 3000 mg / 375 mg per day) in three doses, depending on the severity of the infection.
