• 1 vial of sterile powder for IV use only which contains amoxicillin 500 mg and clavulanic acid 100 mg
• 10 ml bottle of sterile water

Indications

UNICLAV is indicated for following infections

• Lower and upper respiratory tract infections
• Sinus infections (sinusitis)
• Infections of the skin and skin structures
• Urinary tract infections
• Bone and joint (joint) infections
• Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
• Commonly acquired pneumonia
• Cystitis
• Pyelonephritis
• Dental infections

Posology

For Adults and children 40 kg, recommended doses

• Standard dose (for all indications): 1000 mg / 125 mg three times a day;
• Lower dose (especially for skin and soft tissue infections, and mild sinusitis): 1000 mg / 125 mg twice daily

For Children <40 kg

• In children, use UNICLAV tablet, suspension or pediatric sachet Recommended dose: 40 mg / 5mg / kg / day to 80mg / 10mg / kg / day (without exceeding 3000 mg / 375 mg per day) in three doses, depending on the severity of the infection.
