Composition
Each vial contains
- Ceftriaxone 500 mg
- Tazobactam 62,5 mg
Presentation
Each combi pack of TRIXON-T 562.5 contains
- 1 vial containing a powder composed of 500 mg of ceftriaxone and 62.5 mg of tazobactam
- 1 vial of 5 ml of sterile water for injection
Indications
TRIXON-T-562.5 is indicated for the following infections
- Upper respiratory tract infections and acquired pneumonia
- Acute bacterial otitis media
- Infections of the skin and skin structures
- Urinary tract infections
- Inflammatory pelvic disease
- Bacterial meningitis
- Uncomplicated gonorrhea
- Surgical prophylaxis
- Bacterial septicemia
- Bone and joint infections
- Intra-abdominal infections
Posology
Once or twice daily, 1-6 vials regarding severity, for children: 50-100 mg of ceftriaxone daily
