Composition
Each vial contains
- Ceftriaxone 1000 mg
- Sulbactam 500 mg
Presentation
Each combi pack of TRIXON-S-1500 contains
- 1 vial containing a powder consisting of 1000 mg of ceftriaxone and 500 mg of sulbactam
- 1 ampoule of 10 ml sterile water for injection
Indications
TRIXON-S-1500 is indicated in the following infections
- Lower respiratory tract infections
- Acute bacterial otitis media
- Skin infections
- Urinary tract infections (complicated and uncomplicated)
- Inflammatory pelvic disease
- Meningitis
- STI
- Surgical prophylaxis
Posology
once or twice daily, 1-6 vials regarding severity, for children: 50-100 mg of ceftriaxone daily
