Presentation
Each box contains one vial with vancomycin lyophilizate powder 1g for IV use
Indications
This product is used for the following bacterial infections
- Severe methicillin-resistant staphylococcal infections
- respiratory infections
- Osteitis
- Endocarditis
- Complicated skin and soft tissue infections
- Acute bacterial meningitis
Posology
- Patients aged 12 and over: The recommended dose is 15 to 20 mg / kg of body weight every 8 to 12 hours (not to exceed 2 g per dose)
- Infants and children aged between one month and less than 12 years: The recommended dose is 10 to 15 mg / kg bodyweight every 6 hours
