• A vial of Piperacillin and tazobactam for injection containing: Piperacillin 2 g and Tazobactam 250 mg
• 10 ml ampoule of sterile water for injection

Indications

Antibiotic, group of ureidopenicillins for treatment of severe infections and skin infections

• Severe pneumonia
• Complicated urinary tract infections
• Complicated intra-abdominal infections
• Complicated soft tissue and skin infections (including diabetic foot infection)
• Feverish episode in the neutropenic patient

Posology

Recommended dose is: 100 mg/kg/prize three times daily
