Each vial contains: Cefepime 1000 mg
Presentation
INSTACEF comes in a box containing
- 1 bottle of cefepime powder dosed at 1 g
- 1 ampoule of 10 ml sterile water for injection
Indications
Antibiotic, 4th generation of cephalosporines for treatment of severe infections
- Moderate to severe nosocomial pneumonia
- Multiple drug-resistant infections
- Empirical treatment for febrile neutropenia
- Simple and complicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis
- Infections of the skin and skin structures
- Complicated intra-abdominal infections
Posology
Use 2-6 g, two or three times daily regarding type of infection
